To Whom It May Concern: Last summer, as I approached the sale of my seven bedroom beloved home on a two acre estate where I had lived for over twenty-seven years, I went into overwhelm over how to accomplish the move. All was confusion, fear, disorganization, and panic in my mind as I faced letting go of many cherished belongings. I had a tight deadline and needed someone to help me physically clean out closets, drawers, rooms, attic and basement and then to sort, toss, file, label, pack and dispose of everything. I needed an orderly plan for the move. Emotionally, I was also dealing with the anxiety of moving. Thankfully, I found the solution online with Patty Barr, “The Elegant Organizer”, who is charming, compassionate and trustworthy. From day one, Patty was a true professional who knew just how to get started and lead me through the process of moving from chaos to organization. My hope was to downsize and live more simply, and step by step, she taught me new habits and processes to reach that goal. She was always reassuring, kind, and considerate and never pushed me to do more than I could handle. She always came on time to my home for six, four-hour sessions, and had great energy and knowledge of what to do with everything from large furniture down to the smallest nick knack. She physically took away many carloads of items to be donated or tossed, and brought an assistant when necessary. She kept accurate track of all donation items and gave me lists for tax purposes of what was donated. Patty was also at my home for three days to oversee the movers and insure an orderly process throughout. In the end, I am so grateful that Patty, The Elegant Organizer, helped me to restore order, calm and tranquility to my life. I would recommend her and her team’s services to anyone who hopes to live a clutter free and more organized life. I am confident that she will be there for you all the way. I asked Patty to help me with my move and packing. At first it was supposed to be most of the contents of my house to be moved to a storage unit. I was given a flat quote for the job that I thought was very reasonable. Then each week, my plans seemed to change ie: not moving stuff into storage, selling furniture etc….Patty was always extremely flexible with each new plan and even offered to help me sell some stuff at no extra charge….Patty and Theresa came a couple of days before to pack and help my kids pack up their rooms…never a complaint and always enthusiasm as they worked. They were truly happy to see me start my new life chapter. I was very nervous the days up to the move as well as moving day…of course it’s a very stressful time…They were always upbeat and had words of encouragement that the move will go smoothly . The day of the move, Rich Jr. and Patty’s son were the movers and they were adorable….hard working boys who always had a smile on their face and willing to do what it took to get the job done. As it turned out, I had 3 houses that we needed to drop boxes at and they were very flexible and happy to do it. Every one worked together and as they promised, it went very smoothly. They even took stuff to go to donation and to the dump. I don’t know of any regular moving companies that will do that. I was very emotional the day of the move and Patty and Theresa were so sweet with their kind words…In the end, I felt Patty fee’s was extremely reasonable…never nickeled and dimed me.
I highly recommend Patty and her staff to help with any kind of organizing job or move you may have. True professionals. I will be asking Patty to help me organize my messy garage next!
